Hi all. Today I will add another cookie recipe to my stash. This time the cookies are kuznut. To all crunchy lovers, cook now.

After I became interested in baking, I can no longer look at store-bought sweets. Sweets and cookies seem incredibly sweet to me and there is margarine everywhere. Well, since I always want some goodies for tea, I began to look for recipes for such desserts with my own hands.

The blog already has several types of cookies - this, and my favorite (all links are clickable, you will find a detailed description of all recipes there).

Now the turn has come for liver with sesame seeds. This sweetness is very easy to make, anyone can do it. So, if you are tired of buying cookies and want to surprise and please your loved ones, be sure to prepare this dessert for them.

How to make sesame cookies at home, recipe with photos step by step.

Ingredients (I ended up with 25 pieces):

  1. 150 grams sesame seeds
  2. 120 grams of sugar
  3. 60 grams butter
  4. 10 grams vanilla sugar
  5. 70 grams flour
  6. 1 egg
  7. a pinch of salt
  8. 0.5 tsp baking powder

Preparation:

First of all, sesame seeds must be fried in a dry frying pan until golden brown, then cooled to room temperature. Here it is better to choose the widest frying pan; it will be more convenient to achieve a uniform golden color.

Well, in order for the sesame to cool faster, you need to transfer it to a wide dish. The main thing here is not to overcook it, otherwise the finished cookies will be bitter. While the sesame seeds are cooling, let's prepare the rest of the ingredients.

Beat butter at room temperature with sugar until white and fluffy.

Add the egg and beat again.

Mix flour with salt and baking powder and sift.

Add the dry ingredients and cooled sesame seeds to the egg mixture.

Mix. The dough turns out quite liquid and sticky.

Place the dough on the parchment using a spoon at a sufficient distance from each other. The dough spreads a lot during baking. I use a silicone mat instead of parchment.

We send our baking sheet to an oven preheated to 180º.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Attention! The finished cookies are soft; they must first be cooled a little on the baking sheet, and only then transferred to a wire rack.

  4. Pour still warm sesame seeds into the prepared dough and mix. Place the finished mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment. We spread the mass, leveling it approximately according to the shape of the baking sheet (leave a little space around the edges), no more than 1-2 cm high. And put it in the oven. The recipe suggests that the cookies should be baked in this form for about 10 minutes, and only then they should be cut into portions and put back in the oven for 15 minutes.

You can do it differently. Immediately give the cookies the desired shape (squares, stars, hearts) and bake until done, 25-30 minutes. Capture the finished result as a keepsake, this photo will remind you of success. Thanks to sesame seeds, the cookies come out crispy and airy, not too cloying.

There is a recipe for making this delicacy without flour! Essentially this is the same shortbread dough, but the role of flour is replaced by sesame seeds.

  • sour cream 120 ml;
  • egg 1 pc.;
  • flour 245 g;
  • hard cheese 126 g;
  • salt 2.5 g;
  • sesame 5 tbsp. l.

Recipe

  1. Remove the butter from the refrigerator an hour before making the cookies. Sift the flour. Grate the cheese onto a coarse grater. Lightly toast the sesame seeds. Having completed the preliminary preparation, you can knead the dough.
  2. Mash butter at room temperature with flour until you get shortbread crumbs. Add sour cream and grated cheese to the flour mixture. Don't forget the salt on the tip of the teaspoon. Knead the resulting mass into a soft dough.
  3. Roll out the dough on a board sprinkled with flour into a thin rectangular layer (the thickness should be about 2 mm). Using a silicone brush, brush the surface of the dough with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cut the cake into small squares and place on a baking sheet lined with oiled parchment.
  4. Place the cookies in a hot oven and bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. The finished baked goods should be a nice light golden color.

  • citrus essence 3 drops;
  • egg 3 pcs.;
  • sugar 95 g;
  • vegetable oil 11 ml.

Recipe

  1. Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. Set aside the yolks for preparing other dishes, and beat the whites with a mixer until a white, stable foam forms. At the end, add granulated sugar to the protein foam and beat until it is completely dissolved.
  2. Combine sesame seeds with proteins and citrus essence.
  3. Cover a baking sheet with parchment greased with vegetable oil. Place cookies using a spoon onto a baking sheet. Bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. A wooden stick is not needed to determine the degree of readiness; the cookies spread and become a thin crust. Watch carefully so that the cookies do not burn. Once it turns golden, remove from the oven. These Lenten Sesame Cookies are quite filling. You can eat it with pieces of cheese for breakfast.
