- salt - 0.5 tbsp. l.

1. First you need to take the required amount of white cabbage and remove the top few leaves. The remaining part should be finely chopped and kneaded well with your hands. The cabbage should become softer and release its juice.




2. Now you need to thoroughly wash the carrots and finely grate them using a regular grater.




3. The onion must be peeled and washed under running cold water. The vegetable should be chopped using a sharp knife.




4. Now you need to take an apple. It is best if the fruit is of some sour variety. If you don’t have one, a regular sweet apple will do. It should be peeled and then coarsely grated.






5. Add a little table salt. You should not salt too generously, because this ingredient can be added later. But solving the problem of over-salted salad will be much more difficult.




6. Season the salad with cabbage, carrots and apples with a small amount of apple cider vinegar and vegetable oil.

To prepare sauerkraut you need:

  • cabbage with white heads - 1 kg;
  • medium-sized carrots - 100 g;
  • young apples, preferably sour - 100 g;
